No! StemPort is for anyone who works with Audio Files. In fact, this app was made for the beginner in mind. We hope this will take away one confusing & scary aspect of making music: How to send properly labeled stems.
Right now we have a category of 12 Instruments including Vocals, Bass, Drums, Cymbals, Piano, Keys, Synths, Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Brass, Woodwinds and Strings
If a Stem is unable to be identified, it will be put in an ‘Undetermined’ bucket. You can then drag that stem into its appropriate instrument category, and StemPort will utilize that suggestion to properly label similar files the next time around.
StemPort currently accepts WAV, AIFF and MP3 files.
The current upload limit is 10GB worth of audio files.
Our current model identifies & labels individual stems within about 2 seconds. This means a folder of 100 stems would take just minutes to analyze, organize and import.
Yes, in addition to the Naming Convention suggestions we have, you can add any label or naming convention you may need. You can also change the order of the labels within the naming convention.
To be a part of our Beta version, we are only asking for $1.99/month. Our goal here is to provide the audio community with an invaluable tool, while collecting feedback from our users to ensure StemPort is the best it can be.
